I went to buy a brand new range, ceramic top. I live in Tyler and decided to lindale location even though I passed right by the Tyler store. But I was unhappy with the service today. I waited forever to get anyone to help me. I finally found someone to help me just very dissatisfied with the lack of help
Easy access to Lowes. Customer service people I have spoken with were very helpful. Large selection of home repair supplies. All the stuff you would expect from a Lowes store.
Had to wait twice for someone to help. Some did come help after 20 min wait. And we had to load our own materials, and carry them out. We got some heavy stones and the cashier had no concern that we were two woman( my daughter and I) unloading by ourselves!!!
Asked how much delivery charges were when me and my wife went here for a large purchase of building materials. Girl at the contractor register said she didn't know. Asked for someone who would know. She became extremely rude, even snipping at my wife with off handed comments. We demanded to speak with a manager. Was told all the managers had left for the day. This was noon on a Saturday. It took 5 times for us to demand someone in charge before a lead cashier came over who began telling us they don't deliver. We demanded someone else when she got rude. After multiple phone calls this guy showed up. We told him we were looking to buy a large amount of building materials and wanted to know the charges for delivery. He said $65 dollars. We pointed out that they advertise free delivery on appliances within 75 miles; why $65?. He then said we couldn't buy anything. That we needed to call the managers on Monday and discuss bulk orders with them. When we asked why, we were told nothing could be sold over $1500 without a quote. We left empty handed and went to Home Depot. We purchased $7678.45 of building materials and got free delivery all without being insulted by incompetent unsupervised employees. Last time we ever do business with Lowe's.
