always ava at the front of the store.
Just Walmart. Nothing special re: the store. I have found most of the staff to be extremely helpful WHEN you can locate them in the store.
They make you do all the cashiering and bagging yourself. Almost no help to be found. I'm boycotting them because they have taken American people's jobs away so they can make more profit. Join my boycott and send them a message...employ Americans and earn our dollars!
on that same note, the other day, I asked for help pulling something off the top shelf. I asked for help three times and finally had to go get my own help from the front.
I mean... it's walmart... you know what you're getting !! Nobody goes in there expecting to find hipster target employees and over priced pretzels... it almost gives you the feeling of convenient without the bs of trying to be an "upper class" store.
that was pretty sad to see in WM CS
Friendly staff, I was able to get my questions answered when looking for items. I'm not used to be able to get stuff to address concerns at Walmart, so this was a real plus. Perhaps because it's a smaller community? And greeters seemed to enjoy their jobs, smiles and such, again not used to that at Walmarts in larger areas. The other difference was how the store was laid out, a little different that Walmarts in larger areas.
When this one opened it was pretty good, not the largest, but mediumish. Then Walmart started "SKU Reduction". Thousands of items completely disappeared from the store or only one size of it was left and usually a smaller size with higher profit margin. Some departments that were extensive in selection like office supplies, hardware, and sporting goods that were a huge draw when Walmart first started in the region before groceries were added have shrank so small that we have been made to use online stores or their own. Being able to run to Walmart for another this or that because you ran out in the middle of the project is over for the most part. I recently went to get some bug bombs for my outbuilding and there was one box of one kind and it was in the clearance area. I checked with the store and there was no place for it on shelves in either place anymore. My wife and I now travel once a month to another Walmart that is larger to get the same of the items we used to get here, a lot are just gone and can't be ordered in anymore either. BUT, the employees are the saving grace for this store, always extremely helpful.
