Cookies and baked goods are fantastic, too!

The fruit cakes are full of nuts and fruit and are always moist. They have the best angel food cake I've ever had. The pecan pie is quite good. I could take it leave most of the cookies as they are of the harder variety. It's a go to travel spot for lunch sandwiches, fun sodas, and treats.

Pecan brittle was awesome, and the restrooms were super clean.

A good place to stop right off interstate if you're passing by.

Clean place. Friendly employees. Good food. But they do not have the full array of baked goods that they have at bakery in Corsicana. But they still have great stuff just not as much variety.

We didn't stop in for a meal, just grabbed a quick snack while we were passing by.

Eastbound I-20 exit to Hideaway is a mess.

My husband and I visited recently and ordered the chicken salad sandwiches, strawberry lemonades, and an assortment of cookies. The chicken salad sandwiches were pretty good, with tasty chicken salad and muenster cheese. The pecan bread tasted a bit stale, though. The strawberry lemonade was great, and the cookies were hit or miss. The thin praline is fantastic, and the peanut butter was also good. The cherry icebox was not for me, and the chocolate chip was mediocre. Good service though and very clean restaurant/shop.
